Internship Programme at PCT

Internship Programme at PCT V2.0

 

 

PCT invites applications for FREE Internship from final year college students and graduates. The idea is to identify those who are interestedin NGO career and help them with job ready skills, practical exposure to outside world and a possible hiring into PCT.

 

Who Should Apply:  Any final year college student or graduate (male or female) with a passion to explore the world of Non Profit Organizations and to help community.

 

When to apply                       :           Before 20th August 2017

Selection Process                 :           A written test followed by personal interview

 

Internship Schedule:

Phase 1, IIP – Initial Internship Programme – 9 days (Start Date: 25th Aug 2017)

  • 2 days of workshops on PCT projects, public speaking and leadership
  • 2 days of school visits where intern will be an observer while PCT team is in action
  • 3 days of school visits where intern conducts the PCT programmes and PCT team will observe
  • 1 day for the intern to document the learnings
  • 1 day for the intern to present the final report

Lunch and TA & DA allowances will be provided to the intern during all 9 days of IIP.

All interns who successfully complete Phase 1 (IIP) will be provided with a Certificate of Internship.

 

Phase 2, EIP – Extended Internship Programme – 6 months (Sep 2017 – Feb 2018)

Any intern who has successfully completed IIP towards PCT’s satisfaction will be offered Extended Internship Programme for 6 months with an honorarium.

 

After 6 months, the intern has the possibility of getting hired into PCT as a full time resource with salary. For any questions, please contact through email (pct2050@gmail.com)

Padala Charitable Trust (PCT) is a non-profit, non-government organization founded and registered in 2002.   It started off with a primary goal of providing financial help to the economically disabled students who excel in academics and have a strong desire in pursuing higher education, with no bar on their caste, religion or gender. Over last few years PCT has been working on Socially Relevant Initiatives (SRI) to make a bigger impact to the needy around.
